The biggest complaint teen workers have is about their boss: he or she is mean, demanding, uptight or even dishonest. Well, how about a summer job where you're the boss? That's what you get when you take a babysitting job, daycare job or other job working with people half your age (and height).
Childcare jobs can be the best teen jobs because you get to play outside and stay active. Babysitters can take kids to the park or the pool (be vigilant), while day camp counselors get to lead hikes and craft projects.
Being the boss has its downsides, though. You have to enforce the rules and make sure kids respect you. If the children you're working with think you're a pushover, they'll push you right over.
