An Eye-Opener with Google Wave

One of my friends invited me to access particular software called the Google Wave. Google opened this beta software to just a limited number of audience but I guarantee that it will really make the users of email went haywire over it.

If you want to try this out, you have to wait as Google still has to make it readily available to the press and some developers. The tested version was available to some by invitation only and it was still in the development phase. If you want to try it out and have an account, you may try to contact me and maybe I can invite you and be my friend in the world of Google Wave.

The wave is actually a real-time email. It is fascinating especially when you are replying to a message or a wave you received in the system, the message recipient may be able to see what you are actually typing as you type it. Amazing isn’t it?

You may reply anywhere in the message. You may actually do this in a regular email but here in the Wave, your comments are easily read and picked out as the application bounds reply text in boxes that are colored complete with the embedded pictures of the authors. Wave really makes it look so easy.

But Wave is not an email. It is just a feature with a reply-anywhere with a combination of an interesting real-time function. It is a useful combination of instant messaging and email in one. It is architecture in its newest form of communication.

At the moment the users of the Wave may only communicated with the other Wave users only. The addresses in the Wave look like email addresses, but there is a doorway between Wave and the internet email. This is still a very serious limitation and the developers of Google will certainly correct this so that moving from the Wave gateway and the gateway of the standard servers of email will become possible, in addition to the IM services and other social systems like Facebook, among others.

Well, to show you more about Google Wave, here is a video stating still some more of the amazing features of the beta version of Google Wave. I suggest you try out the Google Wave and it is really an incredible eye-opener. I reiterate I may be able to give you some free invitations. I still have a few in my database. *wink* *wink*
