Enjoying Facebook Lite

Hey come on…I know that you know Facebook already. I think almost everybody that I know from all walks of life, young and old, know and use Facebook. Would you believe that the users of Facebook amount to more than 600 million already? Well correct me if I am wrong with my figure there.


In addition, Facebook has so many features that will enable you to really explore everything about it whether it is related with games, applications, private messages, adding friends among others. I recently read a new Facebook setting that will permit you to make use of Facebook’s faster and lighter version always.


You may simply login here and check Facebook Lite box. You just need to choose your preference and voila! You will now be able to use Facebook Lite. I like this Facebook Lite a lot for the reasons like less functionality, better user experience, less clutter as no more app requests are present.

Well as others say, Facebook Lite is the new design of Facebook. It claims to be faster than the regular site. The design also changes regularly and keeps getting better as compared with the regular Facebook. You may notice that the important items for you are placed at the top of the page. It is considered a section portion with soon to be happening events that you are going to attend.


The names of the events are considered SEO friendly so that you may be able to search it in Google. More simplifications were done like the event pages too.


Other parts of the design of Facebook Lite are still complex although not in a bad way but still many parts are now simpler. Facebook are still improving on showing more content by using less code and by giving your social graph the chance to comment on a right inline basis.


Other changes made were that the Home tab was removed and you just need to click on the logo of Facebook to view your home feed. The search box works really fast and displays only the names.


The home page displays comment versions that are very detailed (with photos, links, among others). You will see in your home feed every post with comments. The page portions where the advertisements are usually found are now replaced with little tips. The chat feature has a popup application already.


I don’t know if everybody will really adore the Facebook Lite as compared with the regular site and I wonder if many will complain about it. Well, what do you think?
